People always ask what the hell is this: A workshops company? An art retreat? A mentorship program? An art club? A boot camp? A quarantine island? The answer is that it is a little bit of all of them.
In short, Quarantine is a collective of artists, art lovers, open-minded humans. In our events you will find masterclasses, workshops, boot camps, mentorships, networking… and wine.

We don’t care how good you are, how much success you have, or how many followers you have. What matters is what lights you up from the inside, your eager to learn and meet more art lovers. To sum up, the reasons you do what you do.
…But Menorca Pulsar ain’t for everyone: Quarantine is not a holiday. You are going to work long and hard here. So, we’re looking for guys who are growing as an artists. Doers, who actually care about their Art, know their sh*t, and most importantly… are kind, sharing humans.
If you’re kind, love to learn from great masters, and want to expand your connections and grow your Art… then this might be the place for you.

We strongly recommend that you book at these hotels:
- Hamilton Hotel (5 minutes walk to the pier)
- Artiem Carlos Hotel (9 minutes walk to the pier)
The pier is located in the charming port of Cales Fonts, In the village of Es Castell.
The food it’s homemade, farm-to-table, and made with local products.
The event includes 2 meals a day. Lunch and dinner, as well as water, coffee, tea and soft drinks for studio breaks.
Alcohol and beverages out of the studio are not included.
You must notify in advance of any special dietary needs. BUT, please, keep in mind that we DO NOT attend to personal preferences.
Many artists ask us how they can travel with their oil paints avoiding problems at airport controls. Most artistic materials are safe to travel with, but some are dangerous. Consequently, you must properly pack, label and document your oil paints. Even if allowed, they can mean a red flag for border agents.

Terms
- Firstly, when buying our product you’re accepting these terms and conditions.
- Secondly, it is your responsibility to be in possession of a valid passport or Identification Card. As well as all visas, permits, certificates, or any other document needed for the whole of the journey, including medical certificates.
- Thirdly, and most importantly, admission will be under chronological criteria.
- You must be physically and mentally fit for the proposed activities before arrival. If you have any doubts about this, please contact us and explain any medical conditions that may affect the running of the art events. Some workshops and boot camps may not be suitable for people with certain medical conditions,
- The very nature of some of these workshops (particularly the Plein Air ones) means you may be visiting a variety of outdoor and indoor locations. Some of our activities can be risky (countryside, villages, harbors, boats…). We do our best to keep you safe, but it is up to you to use your judgment and sense to ensure your safety.
- We’ll keep your spot within 5 days, until your payment is arrives (direct bank transfer option). We will confirm your admission as soon as the payment arrives.
- You can ask for an installment plan, but we can’t apply refund policy to this kind of payment. Contact us to set an installment plan.
- Installment plan: you must complete the full payment, at least, 30 days prior to
q uarantine’s starting date. If not, Menorca Pulsar reserves the right to cancel the admission.
- Menorca Pulsar reserves the right to change any of the prices, limit class size, services or contents at any time. If this happens we will notify you immediately and will give you the opportunity of accepting or canceling.
- Menorca Pulsar reserves the right to postpone or cancel an event if we don’t reach the required minimum number of participants. In this case, we would notify you before 30 days prior to the workshop starting date
- If we cancel an event, we will fully refund all your payments. Refunds are limited to total payments made to Menorca Pulsar. If you choose an installment plan and we cancel the event, the refund will be limited to installments already paid.
- Menorca Pulsar cannot be liable for any consequential loss of any kind however that loss is incurred. So, we strongly suggest not buying plane and hotel tickets until we confirm the workshop.
- In the unlikely event that the named teacher is unable to attend due to illness or other circumstances beyond his control, we would fully refund your fee. You will refund a pro-rated amount if a teacher must leave after an event has begun.
- The very nature of the quarantine offered requires flexibility by all parties and must allow for alternatives because of weather/local conditions etc. For this reason, the outline itinerary and outdoors workshop description is an indication of what may take place in the event, and not as a contractual obligation.
- Registration fees are neither refundable, transferable nor exchangeable.
- Cancellations: If you want to cancel, you have to properly notify us in advance.
- The % refund applicable depends on WHEN you notify us your cancellation:
▪️ More than 90 days: 70% refund
▪️ 90 to 30 days: 50% refund
▪️ 30 to 15 days: 30% refund
▪️ 15 days or less before the workshop starts: no refund - If you choose an installment plan, there’s no cancellation refund.
- We will refund your fee in the case of cancellation.
- If the cancellation is covered under the terms of your insurance policy you may be able to claim these charges to your insurance company.
- Booking will be under chronological criteria.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Illegal substances are prohibited on the island.
- The facilities, services, and tuition provided on these quarantines are for the exclusive use of our clients. Guests are not allowed without the express permission of Menorca Pulsar.
- An assistant will welcome you and take you to the
Lazaretto Island by boat from Cales Fonts harbour. And as soon as you get there, our staff will welcome you and will help you with your initial needs. - The maritime taxi is not included if you don’t arrive in the event’s check-in hours.
- Neither Menorca Pulsar or their assigns is liable to any injuries or health problems during the stay.
- Neither Menorca Pulsar or their assigns is liable for stolen property at Lazaretto island. It’s a private environment and there’s nothing to fear. However, we suggest you keep your belongings safely.
- You shall sign a document stating you are responsible for all your actions, safety, and risks you may take during the event.
- Menorca Pulsar does not accept responsibility or liability for death, bodily injury or illness caused to the client or any other person included on the application form. Any claims shall be subject to Spanish law in respect of any question of liability or quantum
- Your own insurance policy must cover any eventuality such as accident, illness, death and any repatriation cost.
- Menorca Pulsar does not accept liability for any loss or additional expense caused by delay or interruption to travel services through weather conditions, civil disturbance, industrial action, strikes, wars, floods, sickness or force majeure. Such losses or additional expenses are the responsibility of the passenger. Force majeure represents unusual and unforeseeable circumstances such as war or the threat of war, pandemics, riots, terrorist activity, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, flood or adverse weather conditions.
- You must show evidence of your identification and insurance cover at the time of your arrival. We will require:
- Name of Insurance Company
- Insurance Policy Number
- Insurance Emergency, or Hotline telephone number
